Service Information The flash device has indicated a failure of the erase command.

Note that for some flash devices, the firmware is using an undocumented feature to differentiate between program and erase errors. Thus an error has occured, but it may be a program or erase failure.

Operator Action Call service.

Causes
  • An erase command failed. The most likely cause is a failure of the flash device.
