Service Information The RFE 'Power Control Relay' is a focus laser safety device that disables the focus laser almost instantly when the head is powered off. During system initialization the relay is tested for both 'on' and 'off' operation. This error indicates that the relay may be remaining on when commanded to go off.

Operator Action Attempt to plot as normal. If additional errors occur, call service.

Causes
  • Due to a hardware failure, the RFE power relay may be frozen 'on'.
