The NVS parameters med <media index> strokeoffset and med <media index> strokewidth configure the pixels that will be used for plotting. The NVS parameters lvd blockeroffset and lvd blockerwidth configure the pixels that are not physically blocked. The NVS parameter lvd blockeroffset determines the pixel offset of the first pixel that has not been physically blocked ( from the home side ).

| There are several requirements for the stroke configuration as follows:

|
- The offset and width of the configured stroke must be a multiple of eight.
- The configured stroke must not exceed the maximum number of pixels.
- The configured stroke must not be phsyically blocked.
