Symptoms

Following a head conversion, edge detection is false or incorrect.

Cause

• An incorrect edge position was found.
• There is a non-repeating edge location.
• The edge of the plate can't be found.

Solution

1. Install the new reverse angle edge detect strip(s), included in the conversion kit.
   Note: The values of reflection off the old strip average 100 to 250. The new strip, when installed correctly, generates reflections of approximately 15 to 20 units.
2. In Service Shell, run the Th3 script edgedetectfind.spt. This properly sets up the edge location.
