Autofocus tracking error with artifacts

Cause

Some heads have a longer than expected autofocus system delay, which can cause an autofocus tracking error. The tracking error has not been seen in the field to date and has not been reproduced under normal operating conditions; however, since the potential for tracking errors exists on some heads, a fix has been provided in firmware version 1.03.08.

Solution

• Upgrade the head firmware to version 1.03.08, available from the Firmware release page.
