Background

This procedure describes how to continue using the LEGATO NetWorker application for 30 days after the 45-day trial period ends.

Perform this procedure if you do not have an authorization number to register the LEGATO NetWorker application.

Procedure

Remove the existing LEGATO NetWorker license and create a new license:

1. At the command line prompt:
   • Type nsr_shutdown and press Enter.
   • Type nsradmin -f /backup/nsr/res/nsr.res and press Enter.
2. Navigate to the LEGATO license file and press Delete.
3. At the command line prompt:
   • Type nsrd and press Enter.
   • Type nsrexecd and press Enter.
4. Start nwadmin.
   The LEGATO NetWorker application will run for a further 30 days.
