Problem:

In some cases Legato NetWorker 5.5 has been mistakenly installed. This version does not work properly with the archive module of Timna Datamanagment.

Explanation:

The current version of Timna is approved and tested with Legato NetWorker version 5.1 with patch 2. Version 5.5 is not tested and not supported. The next version to be tested will be NetWorker version 6.

How to recognize the correct version on the CD-ROM:

The label does not state the version, but a date and a partnumber.

Legato 5.1 CD-ROM has printed September 1998 with PN 44-2001-03
Legato 5.5 CD-ROM has printed December 1998 with PN 44-2001-04

How to downgrade if the wrong version is installed:

This procedure deletes also the Legato indexes.

At the command prompt type:

#nsr_shutdown -a
#nsr_ize -r -s
Answer Yes to all questions.

Install Legato 5.1 + patch2
Restore the index (if necessary) from mmrecov
