Mapping an NT macshare

Symptoms |
When mapping an NT macshare on a Mac the NT computer does not appear for selection in the chooser. However, if the recent servers menu in the Apple menu is accessed, it mounts the volume with no problems. |
Solutions |
Deleting the Appleshare Prep file should fix this. Try using
Appleshare control panel to get off the network first (local port like printer, etc.) and
then reset back to normal Appleshare settings for the Ethernet share that was originally
being used.
