There is an incompatibility with ScenicSoft Preps and the new (Yosemite) G3s where marks do not show up correctly when viewing templates, and the display behaves in an unpredictable fashion.
Download new graphics accelerator driver at: http://asu.info.apple.com./swupdates.nsf/artnum/n11262
Apple indicates that future G-3's will be shipped with the correct driver.
