“System error -2804”

Symptoms

When you launch Adobe Acrobat, a Mac system error occurs.

Cause

This is a problem within the Mac OS. The software can’t load correctly because some components are turned off in Control Panels—for example, color management extensions.

Solution

1. Turn on all the color component extensions in Control Panels, including:
   
   • Color Picker
   • ColorSync
   • ColorSync control
2. Restart your Mac.
