Adding a Static Route

If you have encountered problems when adding a static route:

  1. Type the command: smit tcpip.
  2. Select the Further Configuration menu item.
  3. Select the Flush Routing Table menu item.
  4. Specify "yes" for both Current Running and Configuration Database. All static routes for the Archiver are deleted.

Note: The Flush routine deletes the default gateway address. Make sure to reenter the default gateway address using smit tcpip and the Minimum Configuration item.
