The LinkSwitch 2200 is
a competitively priced workgroup Ethernet to FDDI switch
that delivers wire speed performance on Ethernet and FDDI
ports. The LinkSwitch 2200 is a plug-and-play switch,
with 16-ports of Ethernet and a single FDDI port. It is
highly flexible and easy to configure. the LinkSwitch
features SNMP management and is supported by 3Com
Transcend network management applications.
The LinkSwitch2200
performance is outstanding. It is able to switch at wire
speed with no exceptions. The ISE ASIC, at the heart of
the LinkSwitch 2200, can forward data art rates up tp
193,440 pps - full wire speed for non-tranlational
switching of 64 byte Ethernet packets and 28 byte FDDI
packets.
