Important:

After every FDDI installation on the Ripro Server that connects to a LinkSwitch 1200 do the following:

• Start the SMIT.
• Communications Applications And Services
• TCP-IP
• Further Configuration
• Network Interfaces
• Network Interface Drivers
• Select fi0 (i.e. fi-Zero)
• CHANGE the Maximum IP PACKET SIZE for THIS DEVICE to 1500.
• Exit and restart the Server.
