LinkSwitch 1000 : PTOP connection to WHISPER

1. From the main menu select OK.
2. Get in as user name : security
   password : security
3. From the main menu select - SWITCH MANAGEMENT.
4. Change the field of Management Level from 'Port' to 'Unit', use the space bar to toggle.
5. Select the option 'SDB' at the middle bottom of the screen.
6. Reboot the Whisper in order to notify the switching hub of the Mac address of Whisper .Check the WHISPER MAC address in the database, write it on paper. The WHISPER address can be achieved by checking the port where it is connected to the switching hub.
7. Select the WHISPER address from the database, it will automatically appear in the left side of the screen, including the port number where the whisper is connected.
8. Select the DELETE option. The address will disappear from the database.
9. Fill the address of the WHISPER (use the note), and the port in the left side of the screen .
10. Select the INSERT option. The address will appear in the database.
11. Now the address is permanent stored in the database. You may switch the port where the WHISPER is connected, the database will be updated automatically with new port ID.
12. Type CANCEL to exit.
