- Airconditioning
The air-conditioning must be
specifically designed for this purpose.
- The air-conditioning should be
able to cool the site for any outside
temperature.
- The air-conditioning location
should allow suitable air flow circulation.
- It is recommended to plan a
redundancy system for the air-conditioning system
in the communication room.
It is recommended that the
communication room should maintain an average temperature
of 21°-23° ± 10%.
The humidity inside the
communication room should be 50% (± 10%).
- NOTICE:
Do not use a desert cooler (air cooling by water)
because desert coolers are designed to raise the
humidity in a dry environment.
- Do not use in the
communication room air-conditioning of the
COMFORT type.
- To decide on the required air
conditioning it is necessary to calculate the
total BTU of all devices located inside the
communication room.
- The air conditioning must be
able to operate under the following conditions:
Ambient
air temperature:
0°C to 40°C (32°F-104°F)
Operating
humidity : 10% to
90% relative humidity (non-condensing)
