Network Environment - Structure and Location

For every work environment, space should be allocated for a communication rack. For large sites, a room should be allocated for the communication setup.
It is recommended that the communication racks not be placed in the workplace.

The size of the communication rack should be 20U or 44U high ( U=44.4 millimeters) and 19" wide.

The communication rack should contain an exhaust fan unit at the top of the rack, 8 electricity power sockets and a front door with a lock.
