Computer will not boot from mirror/shadow drive

Tested     Not Tested

Applies to

Windows NT

Version(s)

All

Problem

Mirror partition has not been properly flagged

Causes and Workarounds

  1. Boot into DOS using either a floppy or a DOS partition (it is unlikely any DOS partitions will be available on the system).
  2. Run FDISK.
  3. Make the C: drive active (it will have a * [asterisk] beside the drive letter).
  4. Reboot into NT.
