Windows 2000 | ||
Error |

Symptoms |
When you use the Creo SP4 Upgrade Kit to update Windows 2000, the update fails, with no error message or other indication of a problem. When you restart the system, it sucessfully rolls back to SP3 (or whatever the previous state was). SP4 appears to apply properly, but after you restart, the Version screen indicates that it hasn't. |
||
Cause |
A conflict with Hummingbird Maestro 7.x causes one of the components of the SP4 upgrade to fail. Even though the component (wireless networking configurator) is unused by Creo, the SP4 installer sees a failed condition and automatically rolls back. |
