Platform overview

Kodak supports Qualstar hardware for several workflow solutions, including: PlateMaster, Prinergy, or Timna and Brisque Serve. For more information about AIT-2 technology, see AIT Technology Page. Note: Some documents on this site apply to a specific workflow solution only. Where this is the case, an indication is given in the document link.

AIT Tape Library configurations:

Kodak supports the following standard AIT Tape Library configurations:

• 4 drives, 180 slots (model# 412180) expandable to 12 drives, 360 slots
• 4 drives, 120 slots (model# 46120) expandable to 6 drives
• 2 drives, 80 slots (model# 4480 ) expandable to 4 drives
• 2 drives, 22 slots (model# 4222 )
• 1 drive, 12 slots (model# 4212 ) expandable to 2 drives, 22 slots

LTO3 Tape Library configurations (applies to Prinergy only):

Kodak supports the following standard LTO3 Tape Library configurations:

• 4 drives, 66 slots (model TLS-8466)
• 4 drives, 33 slots (model TLS-8433), expandable to 66 slots
• 2 drives, 33 slots (model TLS-8433), expandable to 4 drives, 66 slots
• 2 drives, 22 slots (model TLS-8222)
• 1 drive, 11 slots (model TLS-8211), expandable to 2 drives, 22 slots
