Brisque Impose Application Note #6
Working with Blank Pages

Question:

How do I add blank pages to my Imposition job?

Explanation:

There are some instances where a blank page may be needed in an Imposition layout. Currently, Brisque Impose does not support Blank Pages added to the Run List in Preps.

Solution:

Create a file that is blank, and add it to your Run List in Preps.
  1. Create a file in any Page Layout application that has data that is white. The dimensions of the file are not important.
  2. Name the file blank.
  3. RIP the file on the Brisque selecting CT only and to a folder called misc that will be easy for you to access for future use. A job named blank.job will be created as a result of the RIP.

Note:

You must create a file that is a CT, so it will be able to Expose with all Screen Resolutions.

When you need to add a blank page to the Run List of a Preps Job, enter the path and name of the CT file (for example, dataVolumes:Brisqu1.1.0:misc:blank).
