Powering Up the Brisque

To power up the system:

1. Make sure the Brisque's voltage switch is set to the correct voltage (115 or 230).
2. Switch on the monitor (auto-adjusting voltage), and check the power LED on the front panel.
3. Switch on any other devices with their own power supplies.
4. Switch on any Proofers and Imagesetters connected to the Brisque.
5. Press the Power switch on the Brisque's front panel.

Console login:

	The system begins its normal start-up routine and is ready for initialization, configuration and setup.
	After being powered up the system goes through a series of initialization processes and self-tests. After a few minutes, a login screen appears:

6. At the Console login, type root and then the password for station configuration (Smit, SciSmit etc.) or
   Type cdesci and press Enter twice to access the CreoScitex application.
