Preps version 4.1.1 is ready for Beta testing (For Brisque users)

Hi all,

Preps version 4.1.1 by Scenicsoft for Brisque is ready for Beta testing. This version supports Mac OS system 9.1 and 9.2. This version is restricted for use with Brisque version 4.0.97 and up.
We expect the DUs to approve this version by end of April 2002.
This version is available in the accessories CD that is part of the Brisque 4 support kit.

Beta Process:

We need to run 2 Beta sites in each DU to approve this version.
Please arrange the beta sites ASAP.

Password:

Preps 4.1.1 uses a different security mechanism than Preps 3.6.1 (which is the version currently shipping for Brisque users). This means that we need to issue new passwords for every Brisque user who upgrades to Preps 4.1
Scenicsoft now have a web site available for our business partners to generate passwords online. This process should be check and approve by the Creo DUs.
Creo will provide Scenicsoft a list of persons at who will be authorizing to order upgrade passwords.

Viki Bar-on will coordinate all the Beta activity from our side.

Know Bugs:

Impo2GO doesn't work well with impofile created by preps 4.1.1 (Create black lines). A fix will be supply to the filed very soon (CD or FTP)
