  • Customers with full-service contracts are entitled to receive the software free of charge.
  • T & M customers will receive the software when they purchase the Brisque 4.0 upgrade package or when they upgrade their hardware with our trade-up program.

Transparencies in PDF files:

The following points provide you with information about transparencies in PDF files.

  • Transparencies may be contained in PDF version 1.4 files that are saved by DTP applications.
  • Transparencies are not created in PDF version 1.4 files when using the Normalizer or Distiller® options.
  • Transparencies are removed from files when they saved in PDF version 1.3 because the save action flattens the transparencies.
  • Transparencies are removed from EPSF files when they are saved by Adobe Illustrator® 9.0 or higher, because the save action flattens the transparencies.
  • Transparencies are removed from PostScript® files when the files are exported or printed by DTP applications. This action occurs because the transparency information contained in the file is flattened when the export or print commands are used.
