Brisque Ver3

In order to create Scitex Job from 4 Tiff separations files we do it via
Hot Folders workflow in Brisque version 3.0.38.

  1. First we need to change the name of the Tiff file (for each separation) from "xxx-C.tiff" to "xxx.C"and then send it to the hot folder (HF1) .
    A) HF1 will do translate to LWHS (from the one bit tiff) , Now in the Translate dialog please select in the "File Destination" the destination to another HF2 ,
    B) The HF2 will do Translate "Page to scitex Job" ,in the 'Input file type' should be 'Scanned LW/NLW' and in the Template of translate should be page to scitex job.
After the Translate you will get scitex job that include 4 Tiff LW under the page. now you can drag the scitex job to Expose/PltExpose/Preview /Proof / Improff Process .

Brisque Ver 4

In order to create Scitex Job from 4 Tiff separations files we do it via one Hot Folders workflow in Brisque version 4.

  1. First we need to change the name of the Tiff file (for each separation) from "xxx-C.tiff" to "xxx.C" and then send it to the the hotfolder.
  2. The Hot Folder get the 4 Tiff files together ,
in the 'Input file type' should be 'Scanned LW/NLW' and in the Template of translate should be page to scitex job.
After the Translate you will get scitex job that include 4 Tiff LW under the page.
now you can drag the scitex job to Expose/PltExpose/Preview /Proof / Improff Process .

Notes:

  1. in Version 4 the expose should support one bit tiff directly,
  2. R&D are working on a solustion for spot colors also (when it will be ready I will update the DU's )
