Disk Seagate 18GB - Firmware Problem

A problem was found with the new Seagate 18GB disk model ST118273W CreoScitex P/N - 607A20205.
The disk is available also under kits P/N - 510K51107, 510K51953, 502D4L243.
The Problem:
Adding the disk to Brisque (E30), the Brisque
hangs during start up with SCSI error message.
The Solution:
Use only 18GB disk with firmware version
*6244*, the firmware version is written on the disk label.
The firmware upgrade can not be implemented in the field.
Please inform all the service engineer and check the disks in your stock before the shipment.
