Brisque S/W Updates to support TSP/VLSI

As of Q2-2000 all the Output Devices Lotem's and Dolev's are shipped with TSP board.

For better support of TSP and VLSI it is recommended:

1. To load the following updates on the Brisque on top of the official Version 3.0.38:

• For Dolev's TSP and VLSI - UpdDolev1.28 only.
• For Lotem's TSP and VLSI - UpdLotem1.27 only.

Both updates exist on the BRISQUE 3.0 U/D (RIP2+DLV+LOT) CD-ROM - 510V1N750
This CD is part of every Brisque and TSP kit.Please refer to the Release Notes (pdf format) of this CD. It includes the loading instructions.

2. TSP Only - To load the "CT Shift Correction for TSP" on top of the updates.
   The CT Shift correction (mrg_vector.tar) is available on ftp://ftpcsa.creoscitex.com/brisque/download
   Below, please find the loading instructions.

Loading Instruction

1. Download the file called mrg_vector.tar from the ftp site to one of the dataVolumes (Example:/dataVolumes/brisque1.1.0/temp)
2. Open the Brisque terminal.
3. cd /dataVolumes/brisque1.1.0/temp <Enter>
4. Type tar -xvf mrg_vector.tar <Enter> (this will open the mrg_vector.rbf.new).
5. cd /scitex/version/plt_extobj/nsp <Enter>
6. mv mrg_vector.rbf mrg_vector.rbf.old <Enter> (backup the original file)
7. cp /dataVolumes/brisque1.1.0/temp/mrg_vector.rbf.new /scitex/version/plt_extobj/nsp <Enter>
8. mv mrg_vector.rbf.new mrg_vector.rbf <Enter>
9. chmod 755 mrg_vector.rbf <Enter>

3. A new Dolev1.34 and Lotem1.31 Updates that includes ALL the above corrections is currently under BETA testing in STA and STE. It will be part of the "Brisque option 2" CD which is currently in beta.
   A separate CDs with copies of those updates where sent to STA & STE . Please contact ATS for further details.
