Dolev 800V3 support for Brisque Version 4.0.97.23 — Release Notes
To support the Dolev 800V3 with Brisque version 4.0.97.23, a new Brisque Version
4-Dolev800V3 Update CD is required. The update CD contains two update packages:
Upd_Brisque4_Dolev800V3 - 4.0.97.4
Upd_TSPBoard - 4.0.97.2
A. Requirements:
New Screen Processor Board - TSP 100
Supported platforms are 44P-170, F50, and 6F1
Brisque version 4.0.97.23
Brisque Version 4 -Dolev800V3 Update CD (p/n 510V1R897A)
Dolev800V3 micro version 1.055 or higher
B. Limitations:
E30 and 43P-140 (Tiger1) are not supported
43P-150 (Tiger2) supported as 'Expose Only' station
Multi device is not supported
Res Intensity - Quick test does not work
Staccato / FM is not supported
Diagnostic of TSP100 is not supported
PltRemote does not work with this version
Screen2Go (TSP100 limitation)
C. Availability:
The Upd_Brisque4_Dolev800V3 CD (p/n 510V1R897A) will be delivered with the
device and can be ordered for existing devices.
The updates, together with instructions, are also available on the FTP:
D. Upd_Brisque4_Dolev800V3-CD — Loading instructions:
Install the Upd_Brisque4_Dolev800V3 on top of Brisque version 4.0.97.23.
Log out from the Brisque application.
Log in as root and type the password ripro.
Insert the Upd_Brisque4_Dolev800V3 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM
drive.
From the AIX command line prompt, type scismit and press
Enter.
In scismit, select Software Handling>Update Software Packages.
Press F4.
A list of packages appears.
Press F7.
Both the Upd_Brisque4_Dolev800V3 and UpdTSPBoard packages become selected.
Press Enter
twice.
At the Are You Sure? prompt, press Enter.
IMPORTANT: After the updates have loaded, wait for the system to
reboot.
Open the CD-ROM drive and remove the Upd_Brisque4_Dolev800V3 CD-ROM.
Log in as cdesci.
To verify the update installation:
From the CDE, open the Utilities panel and double-click
the Station Info icon.
