Background

This procedure describes how to create a Brisque.job from HandShake LW and CT files when no layout or final layout file exists.

Procedure

To create a Brisque.job from HandShake LW and CT files:

  1. Create a template that has two translate operations.
  2. Translate the continuous tone (CT) file to a .job file.
  3. Translate the line work (LW) file to a .job file.
  4. Put the two files on the template.
The template is created provided the names are “correct”.
Note: “Correct” is the same name used with .ct, .lw, .ch or .lh files.
To test the template:
  1. RIP a file from samples to CT/LW HS with a 0,0 offset.
  2. Go to the Page level and translate the .ch file to a .job file.
  3. Translate the .lh file to a .job file.
One successful .job file is created.
