In Brisque 3.0.38, PSN 170 FAF and Remake USB versions are missing a driver

Product

  • Brisque 3.0.38 Update CD2
  • PSN 170 FAF 2.14
  • Remake USB 2.5

Platform

  • E30 - Victory

  • 43P-140 - Tiger1
  • 43P-150 - Tiger2
  • F50 - Wildcat (2 and 4 CPUs)

Operating system

  IBM AIX 4.2.1

Symptoms

Released FAF 2.1.4 and Remake 2.5 do not contain the correct driver for working with the USB hardware protection key.

Solution

To use the USB key with these versions, install the driver.

  1. Download USBMicroGuardDriver.hqx and open the file with Stuffit Expander. The file will be expanded twice. By the end of the expansion the file called USBMicroGuardDriver appears.
  2. Drag and Drop this file on your closed system folder.
  3. Restart your Macintosh. Your FAF or Remake should launch without a problem.
