Symptoms

The communication port is busy.

Cause

• For Brisques with VLSI boards, there were open applications such as mon4.
• For Brisques with TSP boards, the last exposure did not complete correctly.

Solution

For Brisques with VLSI boards:

1.  Check for an open application.

2.  Reset the VLSI board.

3. Shutdown and then start both the Brisque and the output device.

For Brisques with TSP boards:

1. Run monNsp, then quit.

2. Shutdown and then start both the Brisque and the output device.
