Symptoms

Problems may occur with RIPed results if marks are created in Illustrator 9.

Cause

Brisque Impose enables you to add your own marks, created by any Graphic Layout application that can create an EPS. Usually the applications used are FreeHand, CorelDraw and Illustrator. The user created mark must contain LW information only  after the RIP.

Illustrator 9 has a new feature that enables you to rasterize part of the files to support transparency and other special effects. Rasterizing will convert parts of the illustration in a way that their result will be CT after the RIP.

Solution

If creating marks in Illustrator 9, pay close attention to the RIPed results.
