Symptoms

After RIP, lines appear between the CT and LW.

Solution

Install Rip_Hairline.tar.Z

Install this patch on a Brisque that already contains:

• Brisque 3.0.38 + CD options 2 (upd1.12).
• RIPCTQ_BottomRow.tar

To install Rip_Hairline.tar.Z:

1. Log out from Brisque.
2. Download Rip_Hairline.tar.Z (click to download) to your Brisque.
3. Log in as root (password ripro).
4. Save the original psrip_V3, located in /scitex/version/progs.
5. Log in to the Brisque.
6. In the File Manager window, select Rip_Hairline.tar.Z.
7. Right-click, and select Uncompress from the shortcut menu.
8. Type tar - xvf Rip_Hairline.tar.
   The new ps3RIP is installed on the Brisque workstation.
