Error

System Error 801

Symptoms

In Brisque 4.0.97, after a restore of the device configuration created in Brisque 4.0.85, you cannot configure a new device in the Output Devices Handling window.

Although this occurs in all output devices, in the Trendsetter, the above system error appears.

Cause

This is a known problem and is fixed in Brisque 4.0.97.15 .

Solution

  1. From the Brisque 4.0.97.10CD, install the Brisque 4.0.97.10 Utilities package to upgrade Brisque 4.0.97 to version 4.0.97.10.

  2. Use “loading full software version” via scismit,
    Or:
If you have already run a restore or the Brisque 4.0.85 device configuration in version 4.0.97, use “loading full software version” from scismit to load the Brisque application.
Don't restore the device configuration from the dataVolume.
    Or:
If you must cold start Brisque 4.0.97.10 and you need to restore the Brisque 4.0.85 device configuration, after the cold start, restore all the configuration packages one by one (selected by F4), except the OutputConfig package.

Note: In all cases, save the config after the upgrade to prevent any problems in the future
