After the power has been disconnected on the Brisque, on the front panel, the F23b or F25B hard disk light flashes regularly and the floppy disc light is on. According to the firmware manual this indicates that the flash EPROM on the CPU Board is corrupted and the machine is waiting for a floppy containing the EPROM program to be inserted. Once inserted, the machine will automatically run a recovery procedure and boot normally. |

Solution |
Obtain the DART file containing the needed firmware from Product Support or Advanced Technical Specialist. (It was attached to the parallel article in Lotus Notes). In case of a problem, reboot E30 with a diskette inside.
