Symptoms

QuarkXPress™ version 5.0 does not place CMYK labels in the correct location (next to the document name in the layout registration marks area). Instead, the labels are placed randomly on the layout, making them unusable.

Cause

Brisque and PS/M have PPDs that support CMYK labels created by QuarkXPress version 4.x. These PPD files are named CMYK labels for Quark 4+.ppd.

Solution

Use QuarkXPress version 4.x to create CMYK labels.

Note: QuarkXPress version 5.0 PPDs with support for CMYK labels are under development.
