Symptoms

When you log on to Brisque after a cold start or migration to Brisque version 4.0, the following message appears: Brisque-name ftpd [123456] failed to open. File or directory in the path /usr/lib/libpag.a [shr.c] not found or does not exist.

To stop this message appearing, you must deactivate the ftp daemon:
From the AIX command line, type:
chsubserver -d -v ftp -p tcp6 -r inetd

If you need activate ftpd in the inetd.conf file:
From the AIX command line, type:
chsubserver -a -v ftp -p tcp6 -r inetd

Note: Brisque version 4.1 will contain a new maintenance level 10 software module, which will stop this message from appearing.
