Error message 0637 displays when the 6F1 platform fails to boot

Error		`I9 (0637, P1-I9/Z2)` The numbers and letters displayed by this error message represent the following Brisque and Brisque Serve components: `0637`—the error number`P1`—the planar system board attached to the chassis`I9`—slot 9 facing outwards on the chassis`Z2`—external LVD (Low Voltage Differential) SCSI port located next to the four serial ports on the back of the chassis

Symptoms		Error message 0631 displays when the 6F1 platform fails to boot.

Cause		The PCI SCSI in location I9 or I4 fails because the upper power supply unit is not able to support the combined load of the system drive and CD-ROM drive.

Solution		Replace the upper power supply unit.
