To send files from Brisque to a Macintosh® via FTP:
  1. In Brisque, create a new folder on one of the data volumes. For example, create a new folder called BlueLine.

  2. Copy the desired files to the newly-created folder. For example, copy markers, templates, ICF jobs, pages, and imposition jobs.

  3. Right-click the newly-created folder and select Archive & Compress. Brisque creates a compressed archived file. For example, if you archive and compress a folder called BlueLine, Brisque creates a file named BleLine.tar.Z.

  4. Copy the compressed .tar.Z file to the Macintosh.
    Or:
From a Macintosh computer, mount the Brisque data volume containing the compressed .tar.Z file.

  5. From the Macintosh, start an FTP (file transfer protocol) program.

  6. In the FTP program, copy the compressed .tar.Z file to the FTP location ftp://ftpcsa.creo.com/brisque/incoming/.

  7. Notify the person who requires the .tar.Z file to download it from the FTP location ftp://ftpcsa.creo.com/brisque/incoming/.

Note: The contents of the incoming directory are automatically emptied every six days.
