Occasionally, Tone Reproduction is not applied to some parts of a layout when you use a Tone Reproduction Curve to output a job that contains a Color Bar, and you have selected the Tone rep not affected Color Bar option (selected from Preferences>Output).

Solution

Perform the following workaround:

  1. Open the Output Preferences dialog box.
  2. On the Expose tab, select the Tone Rep affect color bar check box.
  3. On the Plate Expose tab, select the Tone Rep affect color bar check box.
  4. Close the Output Preferences dialog box.

After you have selected the Tone Rep affect color bar option, Brisque will produce good image quality, however, Tone Reproduction will be also be applied to the Color Bar.

This problem will be solved with the release of Brisque version 4.1.76.
