Black dots appear in background in output from Brisque 4.1.76 with Improof

Symptoms		Black dots appear in the white background.

Cause		The Improof update from the 4.1 Additional Update CD may not be installed.

Solution		Verify that the Improof update from the 4.1 Additional Update CD is installed. If not, install the update and do the following: Download the patch extraDots.tar.Z (23 MB). This patch replaces the mix0.xx, mix1.xx, mix2.xx, mix3.xx, mix4xx, mix5xx and mix6.xx files in the directory /scitex/version/prf_screen/. Before loading the patch, back up the files (for example, type `cp -p mix0.xx mix0.xxorg`). Download the extraDots.tar.Z executable file to the system (/dataVolumes/x1.0/.updates) and type the following commands: `# cd /dataVolumes/x.1.0/.updates` `# uncompress extraDots.tar.Z` `# tar -xvf extraDots.tar` The new files will be automatically located in the directory /scitex/version/prf_screen/. The final solution will be included in the next Improof update.
