Sometimes white text disappears after a PDF file is processed by the RIP.

Solution

Before RIPing the file, run a PreFlight check and apply the relevant profile and action to the PDF file. You must copy the WHITE.eal and WHITE.ppp files to the Brisque workstation in order to apply the relevant profile and action.

To relocate the files to the Brisque workstation:

  1. Download WhiteText.sit to your Macintosh workstation. Expand the file on the desktop.
  2. Start Brisque on your Macintosh workstation.
  3. Drag the Brisque 4 WHITE.eal file to <station name>.SharedItems folder/PitStopProfilesAndActions/Actions/
  4. Drag the Brisque V4 WHITE.ppp file to <station name>.SharedItems folder/PitStopProfilesAndActions/Profiles/
