Symptoms

In Brisque 4.1.76+Output_7, there is problem exposing CTs using Staccato screen on MCE devices that have 2 TSPs.

Solution

Solution 1—install Update Output_8:

1. Download Upd_Brisque41_Output_8.tar to your Brisque.
2. Install the update as described in the Output_8 Readme.

Solution 2—for Update Output_7, install the adrg4upd7.tar.Z patch:

Save the original file:

1. Log off from Brisque.
2. Log on as root and type your password (ripro).
3. Type: cd /scitex/version/plt_extobj/tsp1.0/Staccato and press enter.
4. To save the original file, type:
   cp –p adrg.rbf adrg.rbf.org and press enter.

Install the new file:

1. From a Mac, copy the adrg4upd7.tar.Z patch to /dataVolumes/example.1.0/.updates.
2. Browse to the patch location and press enter.
3. Type: uncompress adrg4upd7.tar.Z and press enter.
4. Type: tar -xvf adrg4upd7.tar and press enter. The file is automatically copied to its designated location.
5. Type exit and log on as cdesci.

To remove the patch:

1. Log off from Brisque.
2. Log on as root and type your password (ripro).
3. Type: cd /scitex/version/plt_extobj/tsp1.0/Staccato and press enter.
4. Type: cp –p adrg.rbf.org adrg.rbf and press enter.
5. Reboot the Brisque.
