Symptoms

Hairlines appear on the exposed plate or film.

Solution

Install the new NewExpose_4176.tar.Z patch:

Pre-requisite: Brisque 4.1.76 + Upd8

Note: Verify in the Queue manager that the plate expose or expose process is not running before you proceed. (There is no need to log out from Brisque).

1. Open AIX terminal.
2. Save the original file—expose—located at /scitex/version/progs/.
3. Download NewExpose_4176.tar.Z and copy it to one of the dataVolumes (/dataVolume/example.1.0/.updates)
4. Browse to the patch location, and type:
   # uncompress NewExpose_4176.tar.Z
# tar –xvf NewExpose_4176.tar
The file is copied to its proper location.
