Problem with TSP driver.

Solution

Solution 1—Install FP Update 10.4:

  1. Download Upd_Brisque5_61_10_4.tar to your Brisque.
  2. Install the update as described in the ReadMe_5.0.61.10.4 file.

Solution 2—Install the nspdd.tar.Z patch:

  1. Download the nspdd1.tar.Z patch to your Brisque.
  2. Copy the patch to one the Brisque dataVolumes.
  3. Make sure that the output device is not imaging, exposing or proofing.
  4. Open AIX terminal and type:
    # rmdev -l nsp0 -d
    # rmdev -l nsp1 -d
  5. Save the original driver. Type:
    #cd /scitex/version/etc/drivers/
    #cp -p nspdd nspdd.ver5
  6. Remove the TSPs from the configuration list. Type:
    # rmdev -l nsp0 -d
    # rmdev -l nsp1 -d
  7. Browse to the patch location and type:
    # uncompress nspdd.tar.Z
    # tar -xvf nspdd.tar
  8. The new file is copied to this location and replaces the previous file.
  9. Reconfigure the TSPs. Type:
    # cfgmgr
