Error |
Symptoms |
When proofing or exposing plates from an NFS job share that is mounted from a UNIX server, the Brisque 5 software displays an error that the pages in the job cannot be found. The pages are in the correct location (if you perform a page location on the remote NFS volume using ls <path to pages> with the exact path as specified in the error, you get correct results and the job pages appear correctly on the Brisque client). The error does not appear if a Brisque 4.x workstation is connected to the same job share using the same path structure. And, the error does not appear if you recreate a new job from scratch. However, since the customer might have many jobs on this volume, a solution to this problem is necessary. |
Cause |
The problem is with the name of the computer used to mount the NFS share. |
Solution |
For example, if the Mac name: OSXserve and the Brisque name:
OSXserve.1.0 the error appears.
