Symptoms

When an Imposition Job (back and front) is submitted to the Epson Pro 9600 proofer, the first front page prints correctly, but the second back page fails in the queue without an error message.
Note: Printing more than one copy on this device also fails.

Cause

The IC107-FAST-EPSON-TX (INTERCON) network board that is installed in the Epson Pro 9600 has an old network firmware version—version 9.5.x.

Solution

Update the Epson Stylus Pro 9600 with latest firmware (INTERCON)—version 9.6.7:

1. In your Web browser, type the IP address of the print server.
2. Click Firmware Update on the Actions menu.
3. Select the version 9.6.7 update file and click Download.

Note: The download may take several seconds, depending on your network throughput.
