Symptoms

A PDF file of an LRS job that was created in the ArtPro^™ 8.0 software does not RIP correctly in Brisque 5.1. When you use the new Export PDF feature in ArtPro, the Brisque 5.1 Pack RIP does not identify the job as an LRS job. Therefore, the resulting Brisque Pack job is incorrect.

Solution

Use one of the following workarounds:

• Do not select the Export PDF feature in ArtPro. Use instead the standard print parameters for an LRS workflow, as described in the Using the ArtPro software with Kodak Connectivity software document, in the Brisque LRS workflow, Printing the Layout section. You can also download Using ArtPro software with Kodak connectivity software from TechPlanet.
  
• In the Brisque template containing the Pack RIP operation, set the input type to EPS LRS. Add the template to a hot folder, or drop the PDF file on the template. Submit the job without opening the template Parameters window.
