This documents enables you to identify the types of hard disks that are
compatible with Brisque family systems when you need to replace or upgrade
an existing disk.
Note:
- If you need to order a new hard disk, order a 36-GB Seagate 10000
RPM drive.
- If you are replacing a hard disk on a refurbished system, you can
use certain replacement disks that were not originally supplied with
the system. See the Install in refurbished systems
column in the tables below.
System disk: E30, 43P-140, 43P-150, and F50
These systems were supplied with 9 GB 7200 RPM drives.
Replace an existing disk with a 9 GB or 18 GB capacity disk, preferably
running at 7200 RPM.
