Symptoms |
If you have several Brisque workstations and you try to mount a certain Brisque using the Mac OS® Chooser, a different Brisque might be mounted instead. For example, "brisque1" is mounted instead of "brisque10". |
Cause |
There is a problem in the atalk configuration script. When Helios starts on the Brisque workstation, the script adds the station IP address (taken from the /etc/hosts) of the local machine to the atalk.conf file. When /etc/hosts contains several machine names with the same beginning, such as Brisque 1 and Brisque 10, an incorrect IP address is inserted in the atalk.conf file. |

Solution |
To work around the problem: Avoid naming Brisque workstations so that a hostname contains the entire hostname of another Brisque workstation. This is a known problem and will be solved in Brisque 5.0.55. This problem will not be solved in Brisque 4.1. |
