Mac OS® X

Background

You can add lines in CAD Correct to fix gaps in your die by clicking Add Line in the Preview window, and then clicking a start point and an end point on the layout. Once placed, you cannot move the start point, but you can use this procedure to move the end point.

Procedure

To move the end point while adding a line to an item:

  1. In the main window, in the Current Item box, select the item.
  2. In the Preview window, click Add Line. Add Line changes to End Add Line.
  3. In the Preview window, click the location at which you want the line to begin. A blue square appears.
  4. Click the location at which you want the line to end. An orange square appears.
To move the end point, press and hold the Option key and click the location where you want the line to end.
  5. Click End Add Line. An active line appears between the two points.
